through empty head

importantly ignored
3 birds dodged
and one coyote
who didn’t
quite make it
a long days drive
to lay it all on the line
and hold nothing back
in the vineyard
800 miles to meet new people
some who traveled farther
real people
genuine people
who also laid it all on the line
and held nothing back
their moments were SIEZED!
verses floated on soft spring breezes
while wine flowed with relative ease
they left the stage in a
smoking ruin
as each person performed
their works of a lifetime
and left us wanting more!
