Description
I almost never do this...Post more than one shot in a week, but I decided to do it this time because this one is time sensitive--I need to get this gift to Bia before it melts
Bia aka Biutz has a strange and wonderful love for snow. I happened to have the good fortune (insert rolleyes here) to be in the right place to drive through this years first real snowstorm last night. Well, that's not entirely true--I drove through 200 miles of it before finding a hole and waiting it out as I was getting my version of snowblindness from the swirling flakes in the headlights
The first thing I thought of when I saw it was going to be a good snowstorm was I hope I can get a shot for Bia So, L'il Sis, here's your snow. I'd love to say I hiked miles uphill both ways through waist deep snow and driving wind suffering frostbite on my lil toes to get this shot, but I can't. You can see the snow is only ankle deep at best and I trudged down into the bar ditch along the road (wait! it was uphill on the way back to the warm truck ) The wind *was* blowing so I did get cold but I really didn't suffer much frostbite and there is a chance my toes will dry out after my tennis shoes got wet. As I told Bob and Alice, there are not many people in the world I would stop and take pictures of snow for. Just you.
