Taken a couple years ago with my old film camera.

I drive by this structure nearly everyday. Just an old, abandoned farmhouse, but Ohhh! What stories it might tell!

I finally got the gumption to go snap a couple of pics. I think they turned out great! (though I am no pro)

Well Pard, I was gonna be all nice and start out this comment by using your first name..
John.. Then I saw your last name and I almost fell outta my seat.

I Have a really close friend that bears the same name as you..Must be a blessing, He is one heck of a
Friend. Havent talked to him in bout ten years, but I hear him on the radio from time to time.

Now back to the Shot, THIS is what im talkin about.. This is the real thing here pard.. not some make believe old wanna be cabin.. look at the doors and roof... man if only could get out of Texas fast enough..

Thank you for the nice comments! I'm glad someone found this pic for what it is. An old run down farmstead with lots of character. I'd love to get back to this old place and I will soon. I didn't have permission to be on the place so I just took a couple of shots and left. I don't like to cross onto somebodies land without permission, but I will find out who owns it.

I'd like to get some interior shots and such. I have one other shot of this place and I didn't post it because I didn't think it was very good, but I will JUST FOR YOU! :)

BTW~I think there are several of us running around as there is another here in my hometown! I get his mail and phone calls quite often! :D

I have a question (great pic by the way) I just got a new program called Photo Explosion, it's an editing program. I was wondering if I could use this photo as practice, just for brightness+contrast, Hue+Saturation, Auto Adjust level, color enhancer and color balancing. =). Full credit will be given if you approve. You may also post on your DA w/ credit for my editting if you'd like =). I would really appreciate it. Thanks.
