Cosmic AgitationI can’t stand the stars--
twinkling smugly in ethereal
silence all night
just try to focus on them!

eons old yet still
fresh as a daisy
every night waiting
for me to hate them

I can’t stand the way
they sneak across
the darkling night
like some covert blessing
leaving trails across the sky
and in my images

(I’ve spent untold hours
watching their movements;
I never see it happen
but it does)

They are not illuminating!
They make nothing grow!
They add nothing to society!

Except…

They make me wonder…
They are hard to ignore…
They capture my imagination…

A morning somewhere in north central Nebraska--last summer. I'm doing good just remembering that it was north central Nebraska. The places I go sort of meld together after a while

I do also remember witing to unload...that's why I was able to get this shot

almost like another fantasy land... Not only is the composition perfect, but those colors !!!

Well, you have no clue how I miss being here, so I´m trying to
come a bit each day. Not sure how long I will be able to, but
while I´m having lunch at the office, or while hubby´s watching
soccer... I did my escapes (now I´m having lunch
