I've long wanted to dedicate a photograph to my friend, Ali But, until now, I never thought I had anything that would encompass Ali's great vision, personality and FANTASTIC art! Ali works in fractals and fractal manipulation (amongst other things--I think) to create her beautiful Nebulas and space art. I wouldn't know how to make a fractal if the entire Universe depended on it, so I had to find a way to create a Nebula in photography but not that deep space, all-night-long exposure taken with a fabulously expensive equatorial mount tracking tripod, but in macro on a budget I can handle In fact, I have four (4) different views of Casperium Nebula--like a fly-by or a deep space probe.
If you don't know Ali--and it would be a rare person who loves sci-fi, nebulas and space art if you don't--I highly suggest taking a voyage to her gallery and feast your eyes on some real beauty! Usually I make a few suggestions here complete with thumbnails to entice you to go but I shal just plain give you the link directly to Ali's gallery [link] --I couldn't make up my mind on which ones to post
Thank you Linley
