I love it there.
This is gorgeous, I love that you've really captured how it is, it's not one of those over glamourized postcard-type photos

Thank you very much :) I think it would be really easy to over-do it with color and such in editing. I like to keep them as natural looking as possible with only a little tweeking :aww:

Thank you again! :)

This is very beautiful, the wet, but warm feeling of the autumn, the path leading into the unknown, like entering the mysteries of Mother Nature's mind labyrinths... :+fav:

Awww, you did it AGAIN !

No Unicorns or elves yet ?
This is such a gorgeous place... not only the stunning colors, but the sun is so... perfectly dim !
I LOVE the leaves all over the path...
I bet that you could pick up some beautiful ones to keep in a book and then do some craft with them...

Big smile,
M.
(hmmm... I should show you what I did with leaves. I will see if I can get a snapshot of those)

Thank you, Manwathiell

I think all the magical forest creatures had the day off that day ;)

I shot this about 9-10 in the morning, but the place it is at is in a deep valley and the sun doesn't reach there until about noon.

I'd love to see waht you did with your leaves

LOL well, I will try. I will try to get a capture of it,
but not sure how it will turn out !
---------------------
I will be uploading some documentary (UGLY) photos today
of a tree massacre performed by state employees on the
block I work. It is spring, birds building their nests...
Dont they know that spring is the season where the trees
bleed the most ??? I cant understand it, and I am very
angry.

Furious,
M.

I agree with a fellow poster, this one`s got a real cosy vibe about it,can easily envision a couple warmly wrapped in winter clothing walking arm in arm around that bend :date:

Nice one John! :+fav:

Thanks, Jonathan :) Your vision isn't too far off--I got there about 8 in the morning (it's about an hour away from where I live) and had the place to myself until almost 11 and then people started showing up on the trail--too many to keep them out of my shots :fight:
I did actually ask one couple to pose for a shot or two along the trail but they declined.
