Death Star Strikes Back by Corvidae65 Death Star Strikes Back by Corvidae65
*Full View is Bestest :aww:*

Quite a while ago--I bought my first D-SLR, a Nikon D40. Some of the very first pics I took with it were of this strange Death Star looking flower. I only posted one of them. I recently found another post worthy shot on my PC harddrive. This one has a bit more color in the background from the original one and there is a second Death Star in the cropped frame. (The Empire is working overtime :icondarthvaderplz:)

Enjoy and may the Force Be With You! :jedi:

The flower has a name :excited: According to :iconn1c0la: the flowers name is: "Echinops ritro". Thank you for that :highfive:

the symmetry in dies flower is mesmerising! I like this shot and how simple it is - it does focus on the flower but there's enough colourful chaos going on in the background to give the eye a change here and there :)
