Paralyzing; beautiful like an AC current
Across my heart; making the beat stop and
My muscles contract painfully

Heat upon heat builds; blowing the transformers
Of my mind.  At this moment, I am like a relay
She can switch on or off at will.  Hyperventilating,
Hypnotized, electrified--there is no will but hers

In this state, I do not see; I do not hear; I do not feel
The icy grip she has on my heart; no awareness of
The severing of my arteries; the crush of my ventricles
The carbonating of my hormones with one kiss.

I am alone; still charged with electric blue like
A just struck
