Hand-held, 4 shot panorama taken while waiting to unload near Wright Wyoming. I was very taken with the sunrays turning to seemingly black rays from the sun (shadows actually).
The Black Rays are over the largest open coal mine in the world--the Black Thunder Mine. If on'y they would let me in there with my camera for some pics of the Huh-yooge drag-lines and shovels they have! Alas, they don't take kindly to (unapproved--meaning professional photographers meaning to cast the mine in the the best light) cameras around thier mine.
Anyway, I've not been shooting much. Just a few shots here and there and a few fun-filled minutes the other day chasing butterflies around the Grand Tetons The title, inspired by the song, really kind of sums up my photography these days. I'm too busy to scratch my...left ear and when I do have some time I'd rather catch up on sleep than chase light.
I hope you're all enjoying your summer and not baking to well done or getting swept away with floods. It's those extremes this year and nothing else.
I dedicate this panorama to a good friend of mine, HarleeRider Glad you stood to remain my friend Here's to better days ahead!
I know how busy you are so I`m happy to hear you`re grabbing any chance you can to nail some beauties John...quite the sight you captured here, those rays are always so captivating
Thanks Jose
