Description
Hi-dee ho folks!
This is a view from the Green River Overlook in Canyonlands Island in the Sky District--the end of the road, literally. I suppose you could go a little farther but the drop would be killer
A nice, clear day made for some nice shooting The sunrise was a bust that morning and the sky wasn't much until later in the morning, so I just shot the features I saw. This place is mind-blowingly huge. It's hard to imagine that most of the center of Utah is like this or even wilder! Can't wait to get back there!
This one is for a friend of mine named Chris in Romania so he can see how huge and what this country is like in the wild, wild west I don't think he watches me but his wife does and she will make sure he sees Right?

You reminded me of Jonathan's story when he took a certain picture of a certain tree...
Good you didn't go farther.
One must feel an ant in the middle of such a landscape.
I've been like 5 times to Utah, and I never left South Jordan...
(We always go there in winter, not sure if I would see anything but snow then, anyway... )
(I had to check "further" vs. "farther" - I didn't know the difference and now I do!)
