taken on highway 50 south of Gillette, Wyoming this morning as I was waiting to unload. An awesome late night/early morning thunderstorm I had been watching all night on the way to Gillette became really lightning active.
) so I used a handy fencepost to steady the camera during the 30 second exposure. 
I got several really great catches--the best I've taken in my opinion--so I'll probably spam your inbox with a few of them

Cool Shot! I love how all the lightning seems to come down over the farm! Must have an antenna somewhere.
also the faint glow from the lights of your car/truck/semi give the foreground some good interest for depth
I am so sorry that I have took so long to come...
I had to pick one to comment on because I didn't want to say the same things several times hahaha!!
By the way, the one with the dark heavy clouds is amazing. I love it when the sky looks like that, so black-purple-white when a lightning glows
When I did full view on the other photos I noticed that the green light actually belonged to the house and was not caused by the lightning as I thought before ... (better so... I was afraid it had fallen on the house!

I am extremely behind on my watch, it's never lack of love, you know that... I am starting to fave and run a bit or I'll never catch up!
And by the way, your macro is also beautiful. It holds such a tenderness...! It's soft and beautiful, like tiny feathers!!!!

The lightning was actually pretty far off but it looked like Dante's Inferno around that farmhouse

my watch and maybe I should review who I watch, but every time I can't remove
anyone ...
I know the feeling of having to drag yourself from that storm... they are so
fascinating that you always wait for "just one more"... we bet?
And I can imagine how it must have been like. I hope the owners got no damage
on their property!!!
