I wasn't going to upload anything for a while as I am so backed up on messages and devaitions, but then I remembered the Stormy Weather contest that

this shot was taken about 35 miles south of Valentine, Nebraska in the Sandhills Wildlife refuge. I was on my way back from Missouri and pulled over hoping that there would be some wild color on the distant thunderstorm as the sun set. It was a little anti-climatic, but this image came out pretty good.

I tried to get as high on a hill as I could so as to catch the reflection of the thunderheads in the water. I didn't even notice the ducky swimming along until I got home
