Description
I wasn't going to upload anything for a while as I am so backed up on messages and devaitions, but then I remembered the Stormy Weather contest that and are holding.
this shot was taken about 35 miles south of Valentine, Nebraska in the Sandhills Wildlife refuge. I was on my way back from Missouri and pulled over hoping that there would be some wild color on the distant thunderstorm as the sun set. It was a little anti-climatic, but this image came out pretty good.
I tried to get as high on a hill as I could so as to catch the reflection of the thunderheads in the water. I didn't even notice the ducky swimming along until I got home
Anyway--this will be my last upload for a few days. I need to get caught up. There may be some turbo-faving going on, but know that if I put a on your work that I love it!
Do please check out The contest and maybe enter a work--you never know...you might win!
Thank you for looking, commenting and faving (if you do )
