I edited this shot by cropping out the ugly background and cloning out the table to the left. It's the best I can do. short of deleting it
This is a Western Screech Owl named, appropriately enough, Screech
He is a captive bird as he was hit by a car and cannot see well. He has no depth perception so he can not hunt. He is pretty small as you can see and weighs just 5 ounces.
Taken tonight during the 7th street Festival in Rapid City, South Dakota.

Great capture!!! Owls are notorious for getting hit by vehicles. It's too bad.
