I think the black and white is absolutely breathtaking. It leaves to imagination the rest, and since I already know how the place looks like (thanks to other photos in color) this is a fine change!

Badlands are already in my heart...thanks to you!

Thank you Manwathiell

I just really liked how this came out in B/W--the color version is allright but B/W gives it a real spacey atmosphere :giggle:

Thank you again my friend :glomp:

Could you make that into a 1920 x 1080 wallpaper? Pretty please? ;)

Not this one--I don't make many wallpapers and this one has some special problems in the way of noise when blown up. I won't even make prints of it. I think it's because of the B/W conversion I did. Thanks :)

You know--you may be right about that, but I also happen to know that the temperature will drop a few degrees just before sun up.

Thanks bro :highfive:

You`ve posted many from the awesome Badlands in colour,so it`s good to mix it up with some mono (where you can sometimes lose detail during the conversion) but you`ve maintained loads in this one John

Brilliant inspiring place

Thank you brother Jonathan :thanks: I've went back to doing the simplest conversions I possibly can--it's just 2 clicks really.

I wondered how the left side of the shot would come out since it's kind of dark as compared to the rest of the shot and I probably should have run it through the noise reduction filter--might do that yet.

I'm glad you like it my good friend :manhug:

You may be right--I couldn't make up my mind about whether to post in color or B/W so i just flipped a coin :) I thought also it was too similar to the last one I posted. Who know? thank you very much Torsten--I really appreciate your comments :handshake:

I might post the color version too though I'm not fond of doing that.
