I'm still posting old stuff
This is one I wasn't going to post but someone convinced me that maybe I should
I took this a couple years ago in southwestern Nebraska when I was on the beet rehaul campaign. It is a living snowfence way out in the middle of a wheat field and you can see the benefit of having a row of pines to stop the incessant wind and blowing snow--it makes some fantastic drifts that will melt and help water the field in the spring. It also makes some nice cover for small animals that live in the tree row--look close and you can see tracks.
Anyway, it was my night off and I spent it driving around and plodding through snow covered fields to take pictures of clouds and snowdrifts
I couldn't help it with clouds that mirrored the snowdrifts
I hope to have some new stuff to show you soon
I'm still in my winter blahs where photography is concerned
