Shot last summer on a beautiful day in the Wind River Canyon on the Wind River Indian Reservation near Thermopolis, Wyoming. Lots of pull out places big enough for a truck pulling two trailers :iconwoohooplz: in this canyon and the Big Horn river tumbles its way through it.

A railroad line runs along the west wall of the canyon and there are two or three scenic tunnels the trains run through. Hard to get a shot of them though unless you're a strong swimmer :strong:

Boysen Reservoir to the south of this spot feeds the river and many days you can see the brave shooting the rapids on yellow rafts.

This is another of the 'Stolen Moments' from my job :giggle: I wish I could have had more time to shoot there this summer and I wish I was brave enough to climb down those steep rocky sides to the rivers edge. Maybe someday.

Anyway, hope you like the view :+devwatch:

Love this. So makes me miss the road.
One day will get to see the many places that flew by my windshield at 65 mph.

Thank you :) I know what you mean--it's one of the reasons I bought my camera and carry it with me in the truck

Yes! It was late spring when I took the shot--they had gotten lots of snow and spring raing to produce that green. Thank you Klaudia
