Mike Perry and the Longbeds-->Icarus (for Anniliese) www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbLfpS…
My driving days are over. Retired on February 8th. I'll be staying home driving my poor wife crazy I say I won't miss the job--but I will on some levels. However, there will be SOOOOO many things I won't miss AT ALL!!! Onward!
This photo was taken in Bismarck, North Dakota--nothing special, just the air inlet for a dust collector but I liked the way the lime has settled and dripped on it.
I hope to get back to photography very soon. I do love my smartphone camera but it's like eating McDonald's hamburgers--it fills you up but you're still wanting something, you know? I fear I have forgotten how to even handle the D90 but I'm sure it will come back.

Would have no idea what it was without your explanation ,it`s certainly one of those images that could be interpreted into a multitude of possible other things, certainly in my mind
The smartphone I believe has made a lot of enthusiast DSLR users lazy over the past couple of years,I know I for one am guilty of it...it`s so easy and handy to whip it out and snap something in under 10 seconds.
I wouldn`t do without it now but like you,I need to try and shoot more with the main cam again as well.
And big congrats on your retirement brother! I will miss your adventures up and down the highways and byways, literally and visually, but I`m sure you have some left over in the vault for us to seen now and again .
You`ve more than done your time and mileage, enjoy the next phase in your journey John!...we`ll see it here!
